This spool holder is part of the STROFT leader spool system. If purchased as a single item, 5 cutter rings are also required. Together with the cutter rings, which are placed on the spools, the spool holder forms a completely enclosed housing. This protects the line from light and UV radiation.

In addition, the housing allows for easy handling. The housing can be grasped and held at any point to pull line from the spools, which rotate freely inside. The spool holder consists of two similar parts, namely the blue axle and the yellow cover. The spools, which are equipped with cutter rings, are pushed onto the blue axle and can be aligned in various ways.

The yellow cover with its shaft is then inserted through the hole in the axle. By applying light pressure to the cover, it locks into place behind the hole with its spring arms. By applying light pressure to these spring arms, the yellow cover can be opened again and removed.
