Which feathers, which plumes for which fly?

Natural feathers such as CDC cul de canard, duck feathers, partridge feathers, peacock tail fibers and pheasant feathers are important basic materials for fly tying. These feathers are used in the production of dry flies, nymphs and streamers. Marabou, goose biots or soft hackle are the main materials for streamer. Mallard duck feathers, French partridge feathers and pheasant feathers are offered in a wide variety of colors, so there is no limit to the creativity of fly tying. Hand-selected Micro Barb hackle feathers and selected Coq de Leon are indispensable for the construction of various dry fly patterns.
