Whiting Chickabou Patch

Mini Marabou

Create eye-catching fly patterns with high quality whiting chickabou feathers .

These “mini” marabou feathers offered in a wide range of dyed and grizzly colors are perfect for creating small wooly buggers , damsel nymphs and wet flies . Soft fibers that add color and movement to any fly. Great for tails , collars and wings that need to move . The chickabou can be used in two basic ways. When tied to the back of the fly, the chickabou provides an exceptionally lively looking tail for wooly bugger, damsel nymph or dragon fly patterns. When tied to the body of the fly, either sparsely or liberally, the chickabou produces an incredibly lively action and undulating motion with even the slightest movement of the water. Examples of sparse applications are the glues of nymphs, the pectoral fins of sculpin flies and anything that requires a little liveliness in the fly. Nothing is “buggier” than the Whiting Farms Chickabou.

Properties : Soft and fluid structure for realistic movements in water. Easy to work with, durable and wear-resistant.

Advantages:

  • Realistic Presentation: The natural movement of the feathers in the water mimics the behavior of real insects and baitfish.
  • Ease of use : Thanks to their size and consistency, feathers are particularly easy to work with and are suitable for both beginners and experienced builders.
  • Versatility : Thanks to the wide range of colors and versatility of use, it is possible to create a wide range of fly patterns.
