The first Guideline fly reel to be designed exclusively for trout fishing, but the larger model can easily be used for salmon or pike fishing. Every detail and feature has been developed with one thing in mind: to create the perfect, lightweight , modern looking , reliable and solid reel for the serious angler. These reels carry the strong Truss X construction features of the Vosso Guideline reels, but have been adapted to match the sleek and graceful look of the Fario LW reel. The reel foot brings the reel closer to the handle for better balance. An integrated leader holder keeps mono or fluorocarbon in place to prevent tangles.

The drag system is lightweight , low diameter, waterproof and sealed with carbon/stainless steel disks and generates 1.3kg of drag for the #24 and #46 models, which is more than enough for any trout fishing. The size 68 suits the needs of single-handed sea trout and salmon anglers looking for a large diameter, lightweight and solid reel with more drag (2kg at the bottom of the spool) than the two smaller sizes.

The drag adjustment range is 360° and offers settings from just short of free-spooling to a firm and smooth drag to suit the types of fishing expected for this reel. Featuring a slightly oversized spool diameter, the Fario LW offers a fast recovery and a generous backing capacity . The reel comes with a protective neoprene sleeve that can also be used when the reel is mounted on a fly rod.
