Coq de Leon feathers

Since the 16th century, these famous "Coq de Leon" feathers have been bred for fly fishermen in the Leon region (Spain). The individual saddle feathers of the rooster are characterized by intense , very vivid colors and typical pigmentation . They imitate the detailed parts of living insects and are mainly used as tail and wing material on dry and wet flies .
