Orvis PRO Hybrid – Wading Boots with Michelin® Rubber and Felt
The Orvis PRO Hybrid Wading Boots combine rubber and felt in a sole developed with Michelin®. They are designed for fly fishing in rivers and streams, where rocky riverbeds and long walks along the bank call for grip and foot support.
The Michelin® Outdoor Extreme Hybrid outsole has a central felt section for grip on wet rocks and slippery riverbeds. Michelin® rubber around the edges and at the front provides traction and durability outside the water. The felt section accepts optional wading studs.
The quick-drying Clarino® microfibre upper combines low weight with durability. A moulded polyurethane (PU) construction eliminates seams in areas most exposed to wear. Abrasion-resistant rubber reinforcements protect the toes and heels, with double stitching reinforcing the heel area.
The anatomically shaped, 3D-moulded OrthoLite® X25 footbed supports the foot during long fishing sessions. The algae-based Bloom® Rise foam midsole absorbs impacts and helps reduce fatigue when walking.
The high-cut design provides ankle support. Closed-cell foam padding absorbs less moisture and promotes faster drying. High-density, abrasion-resistant laces and a large rear pull tab complete the boots, making them easier to put on and take off.
