Cul de Canard feathers of mallard in selected quality and length. Colored CDC's were unthinkable a few years ago. Due to a special cold-dyeing process, the feather is not deprived of the high fat content, which is partly responsible for the swimming behavior. Essential for various fly patterns such as high-foating CDC flies, emerger or dry flies.
