With the NOVA-Reel series Guideline starts a new era of fly reels. Through a continuation of our “Clean all the way” movement - which is our vision to significantly reduce our environmental impact as a business – the past last year has resulted in the most detailed and focused design study we’ve ever undertaken. Redefining how fly reels are designed, created and manufactured by blending innovative industrial design with low-impact, recycled raw materials means the NOVA fly reel is the most environmentally conscious reel we’ve ever built! FEATURES

The NOVA fly reel series boasts an impressive array of technical features. Constructed from recycled raw-material ingots, the reel is an aluminum marvel committed to sustainability. Notably, it proudly stands as a Single-Use Plastics-free product, with recycled 600D Fabric Reel cases and packaging. A full exterior aluminum component upgrade signifies a dedication to heightened quality, performance, and durability. The optimized carbon drag systems are meticulously designed to deliver fit-for-purpose torque outputs tailored to each reel size.

Enhancements include a new rear fixing drag plate for additional drag stability, and the introduction of new wave springs ensures a more consistent drag pressure throughout the intensity of a fish fight. The reel showcases a new and unique Guideline Design Language, characterized by forms that were once deemed impossible to CNC manufacture. The latticed Spool Spoke Facets and Vertical Cross Arms contribute to increased spool structural integrity.

Built with a built-in counterbalance for minimized componentry, the NOVA reel manages to maintain consistent weights despite significant material upgrades on componentry, opting for alloy over polymer. This commitment to innovation and sustainability positions the Nova fly fishing reel as a top-tier choice for anglers seeking both performance and eco-conscious design. NOVA fly reels are available in three sizes; #46 - #79 - #810 and in two different colors - Black and Stardust.
