JMC Ozone 36 – Semi-Automatic Fly Reel
A press of the lever brings excess fly line back onto the spool. The JMC Ozone 36 uses a semi-automatic retrieve mechanism to reduce continuous cranking. When river fishing or nymphing, it lets you gather loose line quickly and keep it on the reel.
The reel foot is positioned on the cage to make the lever easier to reach. A Large Arbor spool is paired with a micro-adjustable carbon disc drag, allowing resistance to be set for the fishing conditions and fine leaders.
Machined from solid anodised aluminium, the reel has a lightened frame to help keep weight down. The 36 model is designed for line weights #3–6, with a stated capacity of WF5 plus 50 m of 20 lb backing. A neoprene case is included.
