Orvis Clearwater® Fly Rod Outfit – Fly Fishing Rod and Reel Set
The Orvis Clearwater® Fly Rod Outfit combines a Clearwater rod with a matched reel, fly line and backing. The components are selected for the rod configuration, providing an outfit for beginners and experienced fly anglers fishing rivers, streams and lakes.
Designed in Vermont, USA, the intermediate-modulus graphite rod provides progressive response and line control. Each model has an action developed for its length and line weight, rather than one action shared across the entire series.
The blank has a Black Chrome finish with white details. Chrome snake guides and a stripping guide with a ceramic insert help the line run smoothly. An aluminium reel seat with a Black Nickel finish secures the reel.
The reel and fly line matched to the configuration complete the setup alongside the backing. The line type depends on the selected model. Backing provides additional line reserve when playing a fish.
The multi-piece rod is convenient to transport. A grey rigid rod tube protects it during travel and storage. The rod carries a 25-year Orvis warranty, subject to the manufacturer's terms.
