Orvis Hydros Flats Blue – Large Arbor Fly Reel
The Orvis Hydros Flats Blue combines Type II anodised aluminium construction with a Large Arbor spool and a sealed disc drag. A bue finish distinguishes this version. Four sizes cover line weights #3 to #11, depending on the model.
Sealed carbon and stainless-steel drag
The carbon and stainless-steel disc drag provides a smooth, progressive response when a fish takes line. Its sealed construction protects the internal components from water and dirt ingress. The ergonomic drag knob allows resistance to be adjusted during the fight.
Fast line retrieval with Large Arbor
The Large Arbor design supports fast line retrieval and helps reduce tight coils in the fly line. The lightweight spool helps balance the outfit.
"Flats Blue" finish and reversible retrieve
The Type II anodised aluminium construction features a innovatie Flats Blue finish. The rounded reel foot allows the leader to be wrapped temporarily while helping limit unwanted kinks.
The reel converts between left- and right-hand retrieve. The different sizes provide options for trout, freshwater predators and hard-fighting species.
