Orvis Hydros – Fly Reel with Fully Sealed Disc Drag
The Orvis Hydros features a Type II anodised aluminium body and spool, together with a fully sealed disc drag. Sizes II, III and IV cover line weights #3–5, #5–7 and #7–9 respectively.
Disc drag and reversible retrieve
The fully sealed drag system uses carbon and stainless-steel discs. Retrieve can be converted between left and right hand without tools.
Sizes, weights and diameters
Size II is intended for line weights #3–5, weighs 162 g and has a diameter of 8.64 cm. Size III covers #5–7, weighs 173 g and measures 9.86 cm in diameter. Size IV is intended for #7–9, weighs 193 g and has a diameter of 10.80 cm.
