Orvis Hydros Tactical Nymph – DT Fly Line for Euro Nymphing
The Orvis Hydros Tactical Nymph is a fly line for European-style nymph fishing for trout and grayling. Its very thin diameter reduces line sag between the rod tip and the water, helping maintain contact with the nymphs and detect subtle takes.
The Double Taper profile with a slight taper is designed for tight-line techniques, including Euro, Czech, French and Spanish Nymphing. A single DT1 configuration is designed for nymphing rods in line weights #1, #2, #3 and #4.
The Smooth AST Slickness coating reduces friction through the rod guides and helps keep the line surface clean and slick. The braided multifilament core suits cold and temperate water, while the Willow colour provides a discreet appearance.
Two welded loops make connections to the leader and backing straightforward. Orvis Line ID helps identify the line when using several spools or reels. Made in the USA.
