Orvis Hydros Superfine – Floating WF Line for Dry Flies
The Orvis Hydros Superfine is a floating Weight Forward fly line for dry fly fishing on small rivers, streams and clear waters. Its profile helps load the rod at short range, while the 9 ft, approximately 2.74 m, front taper transfers energy progressively for a gentle presentation.
The Smooth AST Slickness coating reduces friction through the rod guides and helps keep the line surface cleaner for longer. A braided multifilament core is designed for cold and temperate water.
The Dark Olive / Willow colour combination reduces the line’s visual impact on the water. A colour change 30 ft, approximately 9.1 m, from the tip provides a reference for judging how much line is out during a cast.
Welded loops at both ends connect the line to your leader and backing. Orvis Line ID makes the line weight easy to identify when using several spools or reels.
