Orvis PRO LT Wading Boots – Lightweight Boots with Michelin® Soles
The Orvis PRO LT Wading Boots are designed for fly fishing in rivers and streams, including trips involving long walks. They are almost 10% lighter than the original Orvis PRO Wading Boots, with a construction that combines flexibility and wear resistance.
The Michelin® Outdoor Extreme rubber outsole provides traction on wet surfaces and uneven riverbeds. Its tread helps maintain grip on rocks and along the bank. For additional traction, the sole accepts Orvis PosiGrip™ studs, sold separately.
The nylon upper with moulded PU reinforcements keeps the construction lightweight and flexible. A polyurethane Kurim® Mudguard protects high-wear areas against abrasion, impacts and rubbing against rocks.
The Intuition® foam footbed absorbs impacts and gradually adapts to the shape of the foot during use. The EVA midsole adds cushioning when walking and during long fishing days.
The mid-cut design supports the ankle while allowing freedom of movement. A ski-boot-inspired 360° padded construction wraps around the foot and ankle to improve stability on uneven riverbeds. It also helps limit the entry of small debris.
The low-profile Speed Lace system allows quick, even adjustment of lace tension, including when wearing lightweight gloves.
